My Bike
I am using a modified Merida Speeder 300 for this trip. I like the hybrid setup which allows me to travel at reasonable speeds on the road but also handle some light off-road sections like gravel paths or forest trails. I'm not the biggest fan of drop bars, so I've added handlebar extensions onto my flat bars to allow for more comfort.
Pannier Rack
I'm using a Tubus pannier rack from Velogear. It's a pretty basic rack which clips onto the bike body instead of attaching to the seat. It makes it more secure and less likely to snap in rough terrain.
Pannier Bags
I'm using Roswheel 40L pannier bags on my trip. I find them to be great for all situations as they have a waterproof covering and are pretty spacious. They also have a hard back on the inside, which prevents flexing on sprints or uphill sections. Sometimes with softer bags they can flex inwards and rub against the wheel.
