My Bike
I am riding a Merida Speeder 300 from 2015. I like the hybrid setup which allows me to travel at reasonable speeds on the road but also handle some light off-road sections like gravel paths or forest trails. It has a very upright relaxed profile which helps me to stay comfortable while riding long distances. I've installed handbar extensions for comfort.
Pannier Rack
I'm using a simple pannier rack from Decathlon. It's a pretty basic rack which clips onto the bike body instead of attaching to the seat. It makes it more secure and less likely to snap in rough terrain.
Pannier Bags
I'm using Rhinowalk 50l pannier pags for this trip. When I used 25l and 30l before I always found I never had enough space. This time I'll have far more room to carry all of the gear I need. I found Rhinowalk to be a very durable brand, the bag comes with a steel bar that stops it from rubbing against my bike's wheels
